We live in a world that demands our attention at all times. Life moves at a pace that mimics a highway at full speed. But mercy isn’t found at seventy miles an hour; it is found when we finally decide to turn off the engine and listen. At Christ Fountain, we created this space to provide you an intentional, quiet rhythm.


Our daily Bible reading plan is not designed to be a race to the finish line. Instead, it is an invitation to inhabit the text, to sit with it, and to allow it to sit with you.


When we read the Bible together, it’s about more than just the words on the page. It’s about finding our way again—like checking an inner compass to see where we’re heading.


It doesn’t matter if you’ve known these stories your whole life or if this is the very first time you’ve ever opened a Bible. The path is the same for all of us. You don’t need to be an expert; you just need to show up with an open heart, ready to see what God might want to whisper to you today.


Each day, as you log into your private space, you will be presented with today’s scripture reading and a private note taking section underneath. What is the scripture verse speaking into your context today? What is the invitation? What is the challenge?


We often read to gather information, but we let Scripture dwell in us so we can be changed. Building a daily Bible reading habit isn’t about checking a box or finishing a race; it’s about making a home for God’s truth in your heart.


Think of this habit as a steady heartbeat. Some days your spirit will feel full and light, and other days it will feel heavy or quiet. Jesus doesn’t ask you to be perfect; it only asks you to be present. When you show up, day after day, you are planting seeds in the soil of your own life. You are deciding that your inner peace matters more than the noise of the world. Over the course of a year, these small, quiet moments of daily scripture begin to reshape the landscape of your heart.

As you reflect on today’s scripture reading, use your journal not as a task list, but as a place to leave breadcrumbs. We are so often caught up in the worry of tomorrow that we lose sight of the quiet mercies of today.


“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” -Lamentations 3:22–23


When you write, try to find one thing for which you are truly grateful.


God’s mercies are rarely loud. They are new every morning. They are as quiet and constant as the rising sun.


To keep a journal is to learn the language of these mercies. It is the practice of catching the “daily mana”. As you look back over the weeks and months, your journal will become more than just a notebook. It is important to be thankful for how much He gives.
